What powers it?

Very neat, looks like a motocycle motor in it.

Yeha i was just reading that which i think is a honda CBR motor, i could be wrong.

That is bad ass. I would so drive that to work every day. Can you imagine a lightweight sports car with the efficiency of a bike? I know it's almost been done with the Ariel Atom, but to see others make something similar is really cool.

he said something about a cbr1000rr. I dont know much about bikes though. I just thought there were too many R's in the name. haha. I'll try to get some video this weekend at the road course.

Is this through SAE's Formula contest? I thought that there was a restriction to only allow 600 cc's. Well, atleast that's all that was ever run at my school. Pretty cool seeing old carb'd 600's transformed with rapid prototyped plenums and custom fuel/spark maps.

You are correct, honda 929RR. The 954 replaced it, but the 929 is still one hell of a bike.

UNC-Charlotte has one I know, I've seen it out in the parking lots before.

lol exactly. Yea there are a bunch of schools that have them.

When I said my friend I meant the project manager and the one who has done 90% of the work on it out of 4 people. He is the one keeping it. He worked to get $15000 in grants and put 3-4000 of his own $ in it. University of Cincinnati. Oh, he used the gauges off the bike too. Pretty cool looking.
