Not too shabby. It's a little big for my tastes, or at least it looks big in the pics. Single gt47 anyone??? :D

Nice engine, however the E46 was the last BMW that looked nice to me, all downhill after that

I love my e46 but to be completely honest...the look of the e90 is growing on me. Twin turbo would be nice to have as well.

Looks nice, I just don't like the rear.

Thats what I'm thinking. My guess is those cars are running only 6-9psi on pretty small turbo's for emissions reasons. I'm sure these things could be a monster in the tuner world. My VR4 has 320HP stock w/ SUPER small turbos running 11psi stock and the 1st gen VR4 has 300HP on 9psi. My guess is the turbo's are larger but the boost is lower.

i guess they didnt want to undersell the m3...they made 333hp N/A, but if people could get a more powerful, less costly 3 series then the prestige of the m series cars would go down...on a side note, i saw a new m5 yesterday...i like the way they look..was nice.

I don't think that has anything to do with it. The new M3 is supposed to have a v8 based off the new m5 v10. It's also supposed to have around 400hp from what I hear.
Edit: 402hp V8 with either the new M5's 7-speed SMGIII transmission or a new 6-speed manual.

Screw the new M3. A twin turbo platform has to have more potential than the new V8.
I think the car looks great. I really like the looks of all the new BMWs. They look much better in person.

I think it would look even better if they dragged the front down a couple inches, I'll try to make a photoshop later of what I mean.
k I know this is kind of crooked, kind of really crooked but you'll get the point.
before

after

and stick a nice front mount behind that and you're golden
