well, me and him were just out driving to go pick up some people, and all of a sudden he went to go pass me at about 60ish, I think, and his tire blew out! His car started to go sideways, he went up over a curb, took out a fire hydrant, and then started rolling, and landed on the roof. The car was a brand new 2006 Cobalt SS, he literally just got it three weeks ago. But he didn't even get one injury at all from the accident, some how... But I guess he proved it was the tire, and only got a failure to control ticket, and the car insurance is covering it I guess. I will try and upload some pics of the damage to the car, it is a pretty nasty sight.

I think it's just a DSM curse, any car around a DSM is bound to break.

Damn, thats amazing that he didnt get hurt. Guess the Cobalts are put together ok.

Sounds like your buddy got pretty damn lucky yesterday...no injury and only a minor ticket.

cobalts are ghey, he is lucky he totalled it now, he can get out of it without losing too much money. he didnt get hurt either, it was meant to be.

well, right now he is driving a 06' pontiac G6 until the dealer gets another one in for him, but I think he is completely changed now since this. Will have pics tomorrow.

Hell yeah, stay with the G6. My Mom just got a G6 GTP a couple weeks ago and that is one hell of a nice car. Plus the 3.9L V6 has some pretty good power. If only it were supercharged.

tell him not to get another cobalt. they blow balls, seriously. i have nothing but hate for them, and they are ugly as 90 year old man balls.

You know you like old man balls. The Cobalts are pretty ugly but for the $ they are making very good power. Sorta like the SRT4. Pretty ugly but fast.
