What's up guys. I just came across this video some guy on another site just posted of his turbo exploding while he was on the dyno. He said it was a fairly new turbo and he had just turned up the boost to 30 psi when the turbo blew up. You can hear him in the background laughing cause he said he didn't care since the turbo has a one year warranty. He said he sent the video to the manufacturer and they were going to send him another turbo this week. Lucky him.

The intercooler should stop the big chunks, hopefully.

I saw this somewhere and it expained it was a PTE (something I forget) turbo. Compressor wheel shredded pieces but didn't quite even reach the intercooler.
But he also said he still thinks PTE is a good company, just a freak accident, and the turbo was replaced with another PTE.

Is that the fan making all that noise or did the asshat not shut it down right away? If that was me, I would've turned the key off before the rollers stopped.
