I am in love. I can't stand the solstice. I dig this though. Check out the horsepower....

I checked it for myself 2 weekends ago at a dealership. It looks pretty sweet in person. Tho, I'm not fond of saturns... Nearly $30k for this thing... eh (The one I saw had a $5k 'dealer markup') :twitch

The reason they are usually marked up is because they are popular and dealers can't get enough of them in stock so the sales people actually tell them not to buy the Sky and the only ones they sell are to the people that say "o that's fine", after being told about the $5000 markup. The are pretty sweet looking cars though. Dunno if they are worth the $ though. Toss up between that and the S2000 just cause of the name brand.

it says 19psi below the tach, and the cellphone reception looking bars arn't even all the way up... Does this mean it boosts more than that?

Only 260 HP at 19+ PSI? :wary And you know that # is at the crank. Sounds off to me.

I saw one at the Auto Show in Motion here in Chicago (greatest idea ever GM :thumbsup ). They look pretty nice... and the Solstice was meh, I drove one there, they're not very fun to drive.

Ion Redline wasted Daisy last summer. I didn't know it was turbocharged! I was trying to come up beside him to see if it was an aftermaket body kit when he walked all over me. :(

the Ion Redline ISN'T turbocharged... it is supercharged and is madly underrated just like its cousin the Cobalt SS. I would bet money that this car actually dynos at around 260whp.. since under new SAE horsepower measuring standards, every Japanese car tested was overrated and every domestic car was underrated, and lets not forget how underrated the SRT-4 was, all mostly for insurance reasons.

plus it is a factory turbo car, so the turbo is always tiny and even though it may boost hard it does not make big peak numbers.

Yeah drove the redline and the cobalt ss at the autoshow also. I learned to drive stick on the cobalt SS :P haha. Thanks GM :) Anyways the redline was my 2nd favorite car to drive that day (the new corvettes are so nice), it has a nice interior, easy to shift, pulls like fuckin nuts in 1st and 2nd gear, has a shift light on steering column at the top,. pretty nice.

Don't the EVO's runs a lot of boost stock to make 280HP? And that's on a good sized turbo.
