today is my 21st birthday and i guess that it's all downhill from here. heather is making me dinner tonight and she got together with some friends of mine to throw a party for me this weekend. maybe i will entertain you guys with some drunk posts saturday night, lol.

haha, thanks guys. no jager today, i picked up some jose, bacardi and triple sec. it was kind of cool "legally" buying alcohol for the first time but i can't believe i actually got carded. i brought beer my freshman year of college without ever being carded and now that im legal, i get carded on my first try; wtf mate?

That is probably because you bought liquor. The liquor stores around me started cracking down. I will be 24 in 5 days and I still get carded sometimes. Mainly just for liquor though. Congrats man! I still get carded for ciggs, well except for the fat bitch at the food lion.

When I buy alcohol I just have my ID ready because this is a college town and if you look under 30 they want to see your ID.

I know around here and back home people get carded all the time, no matter their age. It seems to be a waste of time to have a 40 year old show ID, but I guess it's to send the message that everyone will be checked. I haven't seen this at resturants as much, but stores do it a lot.

i guess it doesnt help that i go to college in a college town, i definately don't get carded at restaurants though. i remember one gas station i used to pick up stuff from actually put bars across their coolers after a certain time in the evening so if you wanted alcohol, you had to have them open it and then show your ID.
