I just ate the biggest bowl of pho I've ever had in my life. I swear there was like a gallon of soup and noodles. I just laid down on the sofa and don't think I'm going to be able to get back up.
To those who don't know, "pho"(pronounced fuh),is Vietnamese noodle soup that can have different kinds of meat/seafood in it.
It's served at most Vietnamese or Thai places. Try it, you won't regret it! :thumbsup

its good, but the last time I had some I found a green worm among the mint leaf's. girlfriend could not finish any of the food after that. the supid ass owner just lauhged at it did not even apologise or offer a discount. so on our way out we just happened to tell everyone eating there to check their food for worms, and to not expect any kind of apology if they found any.
Needless to say we have not been to that place again.

Pho is the fucking best. Lots of Sriracha and some hoisen sauce, and its a fucking materpiece.

I had the Thai version at a restruant near work; soup with shrimp, beef, and who-the-heck-knows what else... good stuff and very filling...

I interned at a Vietnamese resource center and my coworkers always went to eat Pho for lunch. I not too into it, but man, their barbecue is the best!

You guys made me hungry! I sooooo just ordered some from the local Thai place (Little Thailand). Gonna go pick it up in a bit! Will post back....if I live!

Yup, thats it. The green stuff isn't ginger though, it's mint leaves. They use ginger root in other soups but not in pho.
Like Dino said, add a good sized squirt of Sriracha hot chili sauce (rooster sauce hehe), some oyster or hoisen sauce, a teaspoon of sugar and a little lime juice and prepare to be in tastebud heaven.
To the guy who would rather have Ramen... dood, get some from someone who knows how to make it. :P
