I just signed up for an account on dsmtalk.com and ive been browsing the n/t section over there and half the people dont know what the heck they are talking about. For example, we'll be talking about a hahn turbo kit or something and somebody will be like "you should get dsmlink blah blah blah"....wtf?! I was reading another thread where some kid was like "I just got my car back from the shop with my new 20g setup and i raced a nismo spec r and i beat him. then the next day i raced him again and i lost. what could be wrong?" He went on to say that he was running 10psi, on a 20g, on a stock bottom end, blew his motor, then blamed it on the pistons. sheesh.

I knew there was a reason I haven't signed up there, I just check out the kill stories section and nothing else

I tried going over there for a little while and pointing people in the right direction. That was a lot of work.

EDIT: Wow........ It's gotten a lot worse since I was last on there.

Any time i post there, i always end up with a headache. Eventually i just start telling them to go to 2GNT.com instead.

Half the time they say no, because we're a bunch of assholes here, or something.

When Dino was lying in a puddle of his own spilled beer and urine, last August, the moderators from DSMTalk were there for him. Sure, they were there to take pictures, point, and laugh, but they were there, dammit.

So long as someone with a DSM is trying to do some good for the community, you should, as a DSMer, do what you can to help; even if that means not starting shit they will have to clean up.
