it was alright, not really much of a story, more for senseless killing and sick stuff, like the guy who bite the birds head off and drank it, and raped the girl stuff.

Yeah showing an underaged girl getting raped and then pointing a handgun at an infant was a little overboard imo.

I haven't seen it, or do I plan on it, but I heard reviews saying the same things. The author said it had more of a story this time around compared to the first one, because it gave reasoning behind the killing.

I plan avoiding this one just because I don't like horror movies or anything that is full of senseless killing.

Exactly, but I still think there's some things that could be left to the imagination rather than being blatantly shown for shock value.

I thought the movie was okay. I didn't like how the father reacted with his gun. If he's a former LEO, he's not going to be so retarded with a firearm. I did like how the 'pussy' ended up kicking ass and how the dog chewed on the melon head guy.

It wasn't bad, but I expected better when I found out it was by Wes Craven

The original was my wes craven. This was a remake done by some foreigner.
