Buddy just bought an 06... beautiful. If it were me, I'd be all over the Z.

Z is the car I am trying to get right now, go for it. You can always buy another DSM when you have some spare cash around anyways for how cheap they are.

I don't know the 350Z is one car I wouldn't mind buying. Great power, great handling, great looks, RWD, great gas mileage too. But I already have one Z I think that's enough :P

because you love your 2gnt and someone here already has a 350Z... yet it's twin turbo and he's a chicken fucker. :) you can't leave your boost addiction for a v-6... you will miss that BOV and the sound of the turbo. You'll miss the way the light always seems to hit a 2gnt just right no matter what. Trust me.. you love your car and always will!

Don't get it, because I'll be pissed. I want one, but I really shouldn't get one. I could afford it, but fuck I wouldn't have a whole lot of extra money with everything else I have to pay for. But man it's tempting. That exhaust sound.... mmmmm, sexy.

350Z is one of only a few cars I would get rid of the 2gnt for. I say go for it.

Sorry, Mitsu AND Nissan are at the bottom of the reliable import heap in recent years. It was the issues with the 350 in '03 that kept me from buying one (it was down to the 350 and the Evo). They are cool cars though, and if was looking for another car to daily drive, I'd consider it. I doubt that I will ever own another car that is not AWD though, so a likely dd for me would be a 97-up GSX. I miss my 2gnt sometimes...

If you can afford it then get it. If I had the money, and actually drove, I would get one.

I'd try to talk you out of it but I'm 90% sure that's my next car. They're so sexy and the exhaust is also very nice, not to mention a huge step up in luxury from the 2gnt

Seats 2, although our cars practically seat 2 as well...

But realistically, your car is pretty damn sexy. Gotta love the stock 2Gb look with the turbo wing and some darker rims. And you would definitely miss that turbo spooling, even if the Q does sound nice. I don't know if I would want to spend like 30k on a Z. I'd be pretty damn happy with a turbo 2Gb.

And do you have any more pics of the 2G?

I mean, don't get me wrong, the 2gnt is sexy looking and can be made fast with reasonable amount of $$, but 350Z is just in a total different league.

That's just silly. Who would buy those. Back on topic, I really like 350Z's. They sound great stock and have a good stock looking body that you dont need to change. Friends shop specializes in them. He has a TT one and they do TT and single turbo kits all the time. Never seen a fast one at the track though.

They are sweet, I drove my friends track edition and it was sooooo nice. However It felt kinda slow to me. I pull on him pretty good at 16psi and he has intake exhaust and underdrive pulleys... I'd still trade my car for one in a heartbeat if I could afford one...

here are a few reason-

high insurance, high pricetage, and SLOWER than a stock 99-04 mustang GT.

Well if you test drove it you're pretty fucked, no way are you going to forget about it now. I test drove one, picked mine up a week later. :) Yeah, the insurance is high, and it's super expensive to mod. I say keep the 2gnt as the fun car, and leave the Z stock. That's what I did, exept the keeping the Z stock part. :7

I'm picking mine up in April in black or white! Get it. I think it the only car that even compares look wise to the 2G stock. And i control my own insurance policy so thats not a problem. GET IT!

Awesome! Wow I am thinking black or white too! I am leaning towards pike peaks white since few people roll in that but still can't make up my mind. I'm planning to buy so when the 07s start rolling in, I'll go for an 06, new of course!

Leave the Z stock until it's out of warranty IMO. Seen to many people complaining about breaking their car after the twin turbo install. You could just do some bolt ons and it's plenty fast (intake plenum gasket is a popular/cheap mod) Guy here w/ one had pretty much all the bolt ons w/ slicks and ran 12's. He went to our East Coast Gathering for the 3000GT's and was messing on the highway w/ us. Thing had some balls.
