Is this thing new? I was reading about it in an issue of Import Tuner and I wondered if it could be adapted for use on our platform. It's adjustable from 1:1 to 12:1 and if it ever goes bad all that's required is for you to change the seals. Even though it isnt for our cars im sure that it could be made to work because it has all the necessary fittings for fuel and vacuum. Im not exactly sure how it adjusts but i would think that it would be easier than having to deal with numerous springs and discs for your setup. Discuss.

Looks nice, I'm sure it would work.

Cheaper than an SFMU and does the same thing. Now I hope somebody will buy one and let us know how well it works!

You now what Dave, I have a friend on chicago DSM that could make a flange to use that with. Or we could get a honda fuel rail and make a flange. IT could work!

Im not sure how it works but it would be great if all you had to do to adjust it is turn a knob or something. Where would it mount to? I think making a flange like Terry said wouldnt be too difficult to make for use in our cars.

The synapse engineering representative states that this is the last fpr you will ever need to buy with its infinitely adjustable rising rate ratio from 1:1 to 12:1

And i contacted Synapse about it and asked if there was any possibility that they would make a universal unit that we could use on our cars, negating the need for any custom work.

If I remember right, they already make an adapter kit for it. I clearly recall seeing "420A" somewhere in their application list, but I can't remember where I saw that list.

Here's the latest: I contacted Synapse Engineering and I received a reply. The new fpr, model number SC002, will be available in a couple of months and will be compatible with our platform. It will retain all of the same capabilities as the SC001 and can potentially replace the SFMU and the leading 1:1 fpr (aeromotive?) because it can already do both, and it's cheaper too!

Aeromotive is only 135.00 so it wont replace that but it will replace the SFMU IF it performs as well.
