Hey guys I came across this video on youtube and was wondering what peoples opinions are from this site. Basically the guy recording is out to prove that no engine management or anything along those lines are required to run boost on our 420a. If you got a few minutes have a look and post some opinions! Advantages or disadvantages?

Only thing I have to say is they guy has one point, you do not have to have megasqurit to run a turboed 420a.

Dont need a FCD its a 96

What about tuning though? If you got cams and other mods how would you take advantage of that without a tuning device? This guy says he has "stage 4" cams and other things too.

96's do. 95's don't.

I don't know what the guy is trying to prove. We've been turbocharging 420A's since before most of the engine management that we have today even existed.

My first fuel setup was a 12:1 rising rate FMU and a Walbro, on stock injectors. :shrug

Around 4:35 he calls all the people that think you need a FCD stupid idiots.

Wow, he's WAY too smart for me, lol. (I'm guessing 95 or early 96 thus wouldn't need an FCD).
