Found this while ago, doing a random 420a engine image search.
Was mainly looking for closeups of the radiator support brackets, because it looked like my radiator dropped a half inch. HAve no idea why it would do this, only conclusion it can be from is the lower radiator support?

Yeah, that's tim's.

Your rad probably dropped because you set the dowels on the lower support instead of in the holes and it found them on its own.

That's actually the first time I've seen that strut bar. Very nice looking.

Rear one looks the same - they are not that heavy and crazy sturdy.

If you want to order one, let me know and I will grab the PN. Alot of companies send the 4G one which blocks the oil cap.

Nah thanks though. I have a strut bar and I don't even use it, because I'm in the engine bay so often it would simply get in the way!

Also, what Dino said. You should have two little rubber "cups" that the rad pegs fall in to.

Thanks guys for quick response. I havent messed with anything when I noticed how rotted my bottom lower tie was. When I changed my atx filter and fluid this past august.
The rubber cups to brackets are there, you guys might be talking about bottom of the radiator sits atop of the support. I'll check that out after work tommorrow, or Saturday. Should be warm this weekend.

In the link, its #6 Im missing. Are you talking about the two tabs from the radiator thats like the top, or the insulator.

It dropped due to drive up drive ways and through at a drive thru.

Few minutes ago, I checked out the bottom of the radiator. So I could put it back into those dowels. Well, I discovered my support is completely rotted through. The two bolts for the radiator bracket to hold the radiator in place are not there. When drove up a driveway they broke loose as the did the lower tie radiator support. There was big thump after bumper scrape.

Car itself isnt that bad of shape just needs some tlc.

This in no way a comment on the quality of Tims car, which is looking very nice BTW, but im suprised Chris let it on the website with all the hate and discouragement he gave me over the years. Simply for owning an eclipse. I think just about everyone, with a few exceptions, realize just how big a deal this is. =D congrats bro!
