Sadly money has been tight so I won't be dressing up this year. But I can post my kids costume.

I am going as a person who just moved into a house and is unpacking. For effect there will be boxes, stuffing paper, and items everywhere. I will have a bag of candy by my door, with no bowl, no pumpkins or decorations.

Finally!

I'll throw up some pics of the kiddos tomorrow. I'm going out as a parent that just got off of work.

Please don't throw up. Posting pics is okay though.

My new neighborhood was really into this Halloween thing. One neighbor had a small lawn tractor set up as a haunted train pulling multiple cars up and down the street (kids could ride inside). It looked like a miniature version of the luggage carts you see running around at the airports. During Christmas it's the Polar Express.

Most families around me were out front of the house greeting the kids. They pizzas delivered or were roasting marshmallos over mesquite wood fires.

Oh, you guys are welcome for the grammer banner because. It was actually from mitsu-media, a member made it and I just borrowed it.

I never understood how a town (or in this case state!) can "cancel" halloween... it's not an offical holiday anywhere it's just a day by tradition where you have kids ask for candy. What are they going to do if a hundred kids are out trick or treating, round every last one up? If the weather is not cooperating or something then parents should have the sense to not let their kids go out.

It's just the direction things in our society are moving towards, it's as if no one can think independenty anymore and they need someone to tell them what to do or if it's safe.

Oh its better than that. Some jackass Connecticut politian wanted to waste our tax dollars by discussing moving Halloween (totally unconnected to the storm). Apparently he felt that it would be better to have it on the last weekend of the year; because it was too much of a hassle for parents to deal with it during the week!

Fucking idiots.

That's total BS. Monday was the first day back to work for Maria from her maternity leave. I got off work, got home, rounded the kids up and we went out for the local trick or treat.

Deal with it my ass...more like he doesn't want to deal with it.
