47124, Hahn Racecraft: be wary of cust suport.

I used to be a big Hahn fan, most of my parts are Hahn, but after having an issue with one of their parts, and receiving the WORST customer support ever.. I will no longer do bizz with them. EVERYTHING is thru email, which they will respond to , when they have time.. and if/when they do , its usually another request to "understand the problem". im missing a spacer part, i need the part, there is only one of these parts in the assembly... its literally that simple.. Im not sure why they even have a phone number? you call, and all it does is tell you to leave a message , or check the site, which doesn't have any pricing or part # info.. We finally ID'd the part i need, and yet 4 emails later, i still cant get a dam price. Very disappointing. this could have been handled with a 5 min phone call, but now i have to wait for some one to check their mail and respond.. I mean really, how busy can they be..

so just be aware of their "customer support" i know it didn't used to be like this : (

HRC has been in the process of moving and getting set up at a new facility with new people (other than Bill). Cut them some slack.

seems like they have been "moving" along time now.. and the fact that you call, and press an extension.. thinking youll get to talk to some one, then get their voice mail, is a little lame.. they dont want to talk to you, so, so why give the false impression. everything is done online and takes for ever. If there was like a chat, or something to make it faster, then id be fine with it.. but waiting is 1999.. If i break something, and want a part, i have the cash to buy it from them, i dont wanna spend 3 days corresponding just to get a dam quote, and WAIT for their "bookkeeping" dept to call me so i can pay them..

know of any other company that works like that.. i doubt it.

i guess it doesnt surprise me with how awesome this country is getting, i should probably be lucky who ever i was emailing wasnt in india.

If you have a problem, with their customer service you need to contact them through their facebook. They are always on it and more willing to answer your concerns.

Same here, he gave me a free windshield banner when he had a giveway on his facebook during their company move.
I was going to tint the top part due to sun but this freebie was perfect.

I loved Hahn as well. I remember years ago when I ordered my first Stage 1 Kit. Three months later I had all parts and could not have been happier. The quality far outweighed the wait.

The fact that places are still making parts for our cars makes me happy...

I remember one time at the Shootout, it was raining, and Bill Hahn had the entire 2GNT crew taking shelter in his box trailer, while his, you know, $50,000 development platform sat out in the elements. He entertained us by doing wheelies in the mud on an old 3-wheeler.

Later, he swapped wheels/tires/tags with one of our guys who popped his engine in the second round and had someone drive the race car all the way back to Chicago so he could help out one of our Texas brothers by towing his car back to the fort.

Few people have done more for the 2GNT community over the last decade plus than Bill Hahn Jr. You wanna talk about customer support? Order pistons from ERT. Or, a turbo from NER. Or deal with the legal threats from whatshisfuck.

HRC, imo, is above repute.

yea well that was then.. this is now.. i dont recall sayin HRC has always been bad, yrs ago i could call and get info or buy parts just like that.. usually if i need a part, i dont want down time, it nice when you can call, and order.. not call and be told to go online and wait.. i know what he has done for our platform, but its dead, hes moved on to other platforms.. they make good parts, just wish they were faster / more customer friendly.

your right ERT, howell etc suck... but i wasnt comparing HRC to them... ive been around awhile, i already know where not to go.. Thats why i was so surprised at how HRC has changed..
