Ok...I have had my Talon for 10 years...with the last 5 of them not running. Today I began looking at 2g AWD Talon's and am suprised at how reasonably priced they are getting. I always have known that I have wanted a AWD 2g I just thought I would have waited longer than this.

I feel like I am about to cheat and betray my 2gnt. But I long for a AWD 4g63 platform. I won't get rid of my 2gnt and she will never be replaced....

Even more suprising, is that I asked my wife if she was ok with it and she didn't mind at all (as long as I take her to FL in August for our anniversary!)

Disadvantages: Car payment and another non-stop breaking down DSM.

Advantages: Endless

My heart says "BUY IT and think about the consequences later" but my head says "save money and hold close to your 2gnt"

What have others done and what shall I do?

In my eyes, driving one DSM is as good as another, and as long as you dont turn into a typical 4G63 dickhead then everything will be ok.

With the age and value of DSMs, there should be zero reasons to take on a car payment for one. If you want one that badly, save your money and buy it outright.

Start off with an ITB set-up for the street and work from there.

I forsee Mark digging one if his 10.5:1 motors out of storage and sticking the itb's on it and getting some nasty header made and having the highest whp and fastest dd out now that a war has begun between the 4 of the main contenders.
