I could never play the first game that fast.
The fastest I've ever beat any mario game was on Super Mario World for the SNES. I beat it in 20 min. Which is about 10 min off from the fastest recorded one. 10:56

Man that was pretty crazy, they were like neck and neck the whole time. I can play it pretty fast until I get to the last world. Starts to get really really hard at that point.

I beat it 100 times in one day back in 5th grade. Even then it took me like 20 minutes per game... :whoa
