so from what i can tell the water pump went kaputz. i got a check engine light after i turned the car on and left my neighborhood, i thought it odd but the car was running fine, i got about a mile down the road and it shut itself off. pulled into cvs and smelled burning coolant and had spray over the engine bay, tried turning it on again and the starter was just spinning, checked the timing belt and its definitely snapped. the temp needle never went past half way im hoping it did not overheat

So i think the waterpump seized, the timing belt worked through it and snapped waterpump pulley. there are metal shavings at the bottom exterior of the motor.

have you guys heard of anything like this before, and is my motor totally gone? im going to tow it to mitsubishi on wednesday

If the Gods have approved of your behavior lately you might make out ok. My belt broke a few years back while I was in 5th gear at 65 MPH...and I left it in gear for at least 5 seconds after the car shut off...To my surprise opened it up and it was fine. New HG, belt and components and kept on truckin.

should sell the car to me for cheap

i'd plan for the worst. not too bad. if you plan it right, it's a weekend job. it's a love/hate thing ;) no worries, we gotcher back bruhh

2grand come and get it. i have a file full of reciepts. car has 104k miles

i dont have time to work on cars. unfortunately at this point in my life i have more money than time. if i could find a nice in between again my life would be much happier
