I know most of the board is spread nation-wide with a few in my area, but if anyone's interested, we're re-posting the job opening. Posting closes the 7th, so I wanted to get as much visibility as possible.
Go to heb.com/careers, search for "technical specialist". If you need more instructions than that, I don't want you on my team :order
Address is wrong in the listing, we used to be downtown at the Arsenal building and loved it. They recently moved us to a drab gray building at 15103 huebner.
Benefits are ok, average, imo, better than some, worse than others (health, dental, vision, 401k with company match). Little travel, primary & backup on-call (every 4th week). On-call can be rough, can be light, comes & goes.
5 official company holidays, 3 personal holidays, 2-wks vacation.
Not sure on pay, would depend, but guessing around $60+ and 10% annual bonus paid quarterly.

It doesn't say this, but it's also a possibility for heavy VMware/ESX/VDI stuff as well. We have one of the largest installations in San Antonio, Garner did a large case study on us a published it anonymously for virtualization.
I'm the SME for that, so we're basically looking for a general Windows admin to come in a be molded from there.
On a side note, I'm also the SME for InfoBlox and got to go to lunch with Cricket Liu. It was kinda cool, it was a non-tech lunch with just my team of HEB peeps. He was probably thrilled to not have to feel like he was giving a seminar or preaching DNS/BIND for once.
