Looking at my car the other day, I started looking back at when I got interested in the 2nd gen DSMs. So my question is this: When did you first get into the 2GNT platform?
I figure I'll start first. I actually fell in love with the body lines back in '97 when I saw a black Talon in a buddies driveway when I was getting weed (surprised I actually remebered anything during that time...lol). This was back when I didn't know dick about cars. Then I got back into them in 2001 when I was in the whole Honda scene. I sold my Integra and started with a 1st gen Eclipse GS, and realized how sexy the 2nd gens were. After I got tired of replacing trannies in my '93, I saved up and got my '95 with a blown motor. :)

My love for the 2gen also started in 97 when I saw the new 97 model...I was like WOW!..love the way the car looked from all 4 angles. Backed then I couldn't afford a turbo model so I got a new RS. Did a lot to it but sold it in 2004 it was time for something different, but still to this day best car I ever had never broke on me even with all the mods it had. Might get another just for fun.:thumbsup

My love started when one of my ex-girlfriends sisters got a silver 96 Spyder back in the day before all the F&F shit started. Got to drive it a few times and really liked the handling and it had decent speed not to mention the overall look of it. I borrowed it one night and remembered stopping at a friends house, looking under the hood and trying to figure out if it was turbo'd or not LMAO(2.4)!! Not long after I got a 95 GS, went through the whole body kit/big wing phase, started researching and found this site. Years later I now have the 95 GS(targa non-riced and unfinished), a 96 RS, a 97 RS-T and a fuck load more knowledge than I did. Thanks 2GNT!!
