Hey, just wondering if anyone is planning a 2GNT meet or get together in Georgia, Florida, or the Carolinas. I'd plan one, but things are a too hectic for me right now to set time aside for planning. That, and the fact that I live in an apartment complex... And we have cops here ALOT since we have a problem with Hondas speeding around the complex, almost running kids over...

There are probably no 2GNT specific meets. (The announcements section is good for that sort of thing.) Can you drill down the area a bit further? Where are you at, and how far do you want to travel? There are lots of DSM/general car meets around my area. (Tampa) I usually don't go, since it's almost never anything but 17-20 year old kids.

There are a few guys from SC on here. I would be down for something if its not to far.

I'm about 20 minutes south from Atlanta. With the engine in it's current state, I'd say I'd be willing to drive up to 4 hours for a good meet, as long as the ricer crowd would be at a minimum. Not looking for trouble from law enforcement. Too old for that crap...lol

Teklien made a post on dsmpurity about a meet and it exploded from just having a small BBQ in the upstate of SC to having a full on weekend extravaganza in I think Charleston or somewhere like that.

... like a carnival with rides and cotton candy? SWEET!!!! :P Yeah, I'd like a simple cool gathering of people who love DSMs, not "My car is better than your car" or "That's not a real DSM" ignorance. Everyone knows my car is fast. It's so fast that the clear coat got ripped off! ..lol
