I wouldn't mind that car, but i imagine most people need more then about 40 miles of driving ability.
I love the plug in at the gas tank.

The auxiliary battery is a regular car battery and it is there to power miscellaneous functions such as windshield wipers, lights, and the breaks.
I hope he means brake lights, as it would suck to have no brakes on account of a failed battery.
