I know that this generation wasn't know for chassis strongth...but damn. LOL

Since when do you need a strong chassis to do a burnout with an open differential?

You don't, but I was just commenting on the fact that the tire blowing threw the spot welds on the fender well. That doesn't bode well for the rest of the car IMO.


And yes...it does belong in a junkyard, and I have a feeling that's were it ended up after that. And it's engine, it without a doubt, is hanging from a tree beside a double wide. LOL

Spot welds werent the issue with the 3rd gen. the uni body was. the spots welds prolly let go do to the thing rotting from the inside. That could happen to any car.
