i vote for TELL US ALREADY!

How much boost? When you put down 302whp before, you were running 15psi right? If you stayed at the same boost level, my guess would be 320whp. But if you turned it up a notch with the DFI in there and your larger injectors, I'd lean more toward 350whp.

i bet it didn't blow up... i built the wideband!

Kaboom... my vote..

It made 240wHP somewhere after 4000RPM, and 270ft/lb of torque @ 4000RPM, then blew the fuck up. It would have been low 300's had we been able to pull it all the way through.

It went lean. It was either an electrical problem (which it had been plagued with all morning) or the map was just flat wrong. AT this point it doesn't matter and i don't care. I lost at least one piston, possibly a headgasket, and the oil pump. it made very little to no oil pressure after the pass. It went home on a flatbed.

Anyone who donated to the "Buy Dino two hours of dyno time for his birthday" fund care to donate to the "Buy Dino a new set of pistons, a gasket set, and an oil pump" fund?

What was your setup when you made the pull?

Damn Dino, sorry to hear about that....shit happens. I'm sure once the $$ is there you will have it fixed up in no time. After all, you got one of the best 420A mechanics working on it ;-) How much boost were you running during the pull?

You can always upgrade to the 2.2 liter fty stroker.

Sorry to hear about that Dino. As you already know I sung the same sad song. I was loving it on the street and then it blew up on the dyno, but mine was due to a bad turbo. I should have known better. It was my fault. Live and learn. Good luck putting it back together.

Sorry to hear that man, I blew up my last motor because of an electrical problem. That's why I watch my voltage as much as my EGT now. At least were not a week away from the shootout, that's when mine poped so I couldn't bring it down.

Look at the bright side, you can drop a bigger badass motor in there. I say go with the 2.4 high comp! :thumbsup Whatever you do get it done before the shootout. :7
