So I have a guy that wants to trade me a 1997 Saab 9000 CSE 2.3 Turbo. I have decided im going to do it, it is an awesome car with all the options from power doors down to digital climate control (Which is freakin sweet if you know what it is) this car has 144k and mine has 202k and I am giving the guy $450 along with the car to make up for the difference.

But I am not leaving the 2gnt community because I still have my 95 Eclipse turbo build. I just want a little nicer car for a daily driver then my eclipse will be the fun car but im sure this saab will be a fun daily driver since its turbo.

I think its a great deal considering I dont have a whole lot into this talon.

And speaking of the turbo build I am ready to start assembling the motor I just need a timing belt and component kit (Which hopefully im getting from dougie) and I have everything bearings came in today so tomorrow I should start the assembling and I hope to have it running in a few weeks. I will take many detailed pics of the assembly just so theres more here on the forum for BANME!s.

This thing is awesome. A few flaws here and there but no big deal I got a awesome deal and i have no complaints. I found out its a 2.3 stroker :-) with a mitsubishi turbo.

I will take some pics once I clean it up.

friend of mine has a saab. i like it. its the more race ready version which saab labels as VIGGEN. only so many of those made.

Tux, welcome to the world of mediocre european, GM owned, quality-control deficient, under styled, Saab nightmares. Everyone that I've known that has had one in the past 10 years has HATED them. Yeah they're fun to drive, but the rest of the car usually falls apart around the engine.

Considering I had $500 in the talon and gave him $450 I have $950 in this car and its worth more than that.
