Thought some of you Avenger guys would enjoy this;

One of my race buddies made this AWD from a really clean Avenger (the old engine is part of my 420a turbo). He did it in about a week in his shop last spring. It was legally registered in Ct. It didn't have the same "flair" as his Hyundai (low 10 sec 4g63 AWD swap) so he got bored with it, lol.

if i recall there have been a handful of swaps done but i think they were all v6 setups. I dont recall exactly but i did meet a 2gnt guy in FT Wayne IN that had a roomate that was doing it on his Avenger about 8 years ago. Never heard the finals on the project but supposedly there were others already done and if you search there are supposed to be writups on it.

Nah, some of the locals have seen it run, but like most times, nobody videos it.

No shit.

I'm working a lead for Gearbox of a guy who recently swapped a complete Evo IX drivetrain into a 3G Eclipse.

It's a good thing most of the people we flamed about turbo swaps over the years were lazy fucktards who've moved on to Hondas and forgotten all about it. Don't know if the server could handle them all coming in serve up crow. :P
