I came across a gem, body is in decent shape, little rust here and there (doesn't look too major, yet), 1 small dent on the roof (golf ball size), and it needs work. It *possibly* needs a new head and all of the fun stuff that goes along with the head. The car overheated and has aparently been sitting for 2+ years.

$350 for the car, I need to tow it, but no trailer rental places are open today! Sure, I get a day off of work for Labor Day, but can not put it to good use.

I finally tracked down a place that was open with a trailer, got her home. I feel more complete now that I have another 2GNT.... sappy, yes, but I've wanted another since selling my Talon... Evil Betty R.I.P..

Looks like more work than just a head, but for $350, who cares? No wife (or fiance anymore), no kids, all of the time in the world. Hmmm, the built turbo motor I've always wanted???

Very true. After 2 years, I've forgotten the nature of these cars. I will say, I did miss it.

The Regal wasn't as fun as I thought it would have been... something about not being able to take a corner that well, or a 5 speed.

Pretty close... we were a few months from getting married, but engaged for 4-5 years, close enough. Luckily I bought the house with only my name on it. I'm actually glad it happened, it was getting miserable... and to quote the Free Credit Report.com commercial, I am a "happy bachelor with a dog and a yard".

A Chicagoland 2GNT meet would be great, best car meets I've ever gone to.

I would offer my house as a location, but I am currently residing in Decatur and I doubt many people would want to drive 3-4 hrs for this city. Well, my house is always open for a 2GNT meet!

3rd day of owning the car and it's already shed the AC. Don't know if it would have worked, but no freon in the system was enough motivation for me to shed some weight.

Eh, hell isn't so bad. Considering the relationship I left, I'm glad to have a money sucking car that is almost as mean as my ex.

I know this is wrong, but I will be finishing the bodywork on the Regal (quickly) and painting it white in order to sell. White hides where I slacked off.

I know what you mean about the ex. thing I'm thankful that paid the back child support wasnt much but enough to hurt my credit and loose my license. Now I need remove these small debts from when I was with her.
