I'm basically gonna give him a 16gig 3g iPhone, 4 boxes of 9mm ammo, and $3200.
What do yall think about it? I'm not 100% sold, I wanted something newer, just have no idea what I want.

I would take it for a drive and see how it feals, and check for any major problems. but If it was me id probably take it. I just drove my friends gsx with 24 lbs of boost and im pretty much sold on buying a gsx now.

Check for crankwalk and signs of it being de-modded. Other than that, I'm for it.

I thought of the crank walk issue on the 97s. I backed out. Although it's probably a good deal, I decided it's not something I truly want.
Plus, I'm frustrated with my mustang, and I don't want another car I'll have to tinker with ATM. The known plastic intake issue got me last weekend, and the replacement came in Thursday. Now, I've been working through an intermittent misfire for the passed year that happens at part-throttle below 1500 RPM. It doesn't throw a code, o2 sensors are new, MAF is new, PCV assembly is new (all hoses and valve itself), TP sensor registers fine, yet it still misses. I swapped to an 80mm MAF, 75mm TB, C&L upper plenum, and the problem persisted. Before I swapped the parts, I replaced plugs & boots. The car ran better with the new parts, plugs and boots, but not 100%, and sort of got worse over time. So I decided to put 24# injectors in it, problem went away and the car ran awesome.
After a week of daily driving, long term fuel trim owned me and it started missing again. I was pissed and just stood on it in first gear to 6k rpm, slammed it into 2nd and almost crashed because the intake split open and sprayed coolant everywhere, thus the ground i was driving on was wet. I started thinking maybe if the intake was cracked it was sucking unmetered air (wishful thinking, mind you).
Fast forward to yesterday, unhook the battery to reset the ECU, pull the intake off and can only see where the water cross over line split, but the intake gaskets look like they might have had a leak. After all's said & done, the car starts & idles fine. Go for a test drive and it's missing worse than before. After a 5 mile test drive of 'spirited' driving, I come back through the neighborhood and it's not missing. Heh, but this morning, it's missing again.
I try to force a misfire code, but nothing. I can drop it in 5th gear at 30 mph and at part throttle it'll miss, but if I go WOT, it runs fine.
I'm at such a loss I'm ready to blow the car up...

I just got back from another let down of a drive. The clutches in my limited slip rear end are so wore I basically have an open differential now.
Sometimes I hate this fuckin car. i wish I could just drive my cougar every day.
