About as close as you can get to the real thing. :P It won't be long (In the grand scheme of things) before this kind of technology will be scalable and affordable enough for one to have at home. I doubt you could get a hold of the exact same software, though. Either way, pretty slick tech.

I want one.
The best flight simulator I've been in was actually at an old job I had. It could tilt froward and backwards about 30-45 degrees and do full (and infinite) barrel rolls. It had about a 50" flat panel TV 3 ft. from your face and 5 point harness to hold you in. The company I worked for was making parts for it...timing belt pulleys or something. And we could go try it out anytime we wanted to. I was ill after about 2 minutes in the thing...it was sweet.

when objects move from screen to screen on this "sphere", it makes my head hurt. Objects look likey they're traveling through "fish eye" effects when transitioning from screen to screen. Good idea but still flawed and needs refining. :)
