I'm sitting in my new house, finally connected my computer up. It's nice to be able to relax a little bit - we've hit a pause in our renovation project waiting for additional supplies.

So I'm having a drink and sitting on twitter, 2GNT, facebook, and compiling KDE 4.2 in the background. Yay.

what kind of renovation project? I've got plans to start putting some new lighting into my garage tomorrow, very excited since there's only one shitty bulb in there currently

....been delivering flowers in the rain all day for a friens who's losing her shop....bunch of us donated time to help her out....ready for a hot shower & warm bed very soon......have a great weekend everybody :-)

Getting ready to run up to work and paint a front bumper for a friend then bed..yay Been a long day..

We've ripped all of the original flooring out and are re-flooring the entire house in laminate. The kitchen was also a disgrace, and so we've redesigned it and purchased new cabinetry. We can't lay the floors in the kitchen until the cabinets go down, and we can't put the cabinets down until the cabinet company gets the to us... so we wait.

The new flooring looks nice. I'm debating doing the same for my kitchen and dining room (By I, I mean the woman wants to do it :P). But we're also debating moving down to texas so the money may be better spent on something down there.

I'm staring at 8" of snow and planning my menu for a nice romantic dinner for the wife tomorrow.

Its 6:21am here, and ive been up since 4:30 trying to get a server back up.

First 45 minutes went like this "Can you go to your server?", "Umm, it was here, but they moved it", "Well where did they take it?", "I have no idea"

Hooray.

Ended up having to call the techs in MI that are on a training, at 5am their time, to get them to drive to this clinic and get them back up.

i worked from 6 am to 10 pm and then came on here before going to sleep and doing it all again tomorow. So much for a weekend :(

My eclipse has been sitting in my garage for like 4 years. Needs new radiator and tranny. Otherwise it has just sat... It has sat so long that I towed to to my last house I lived for 3 years, and I towed it to my new house. Now is THAT some 2gnt love right there? I keep dragging it around with me and it doesn't even work...yet.

Nice flooring! We ourselves redid the floor in our house, too - went with a similar tap and click system for laminate flooring....we chose the Brazillian Cherry, it's a little redder and darker than yours. Nice pics!

Thanks! it's been a real mother doing all the work, but in the end, it's pretty satisfying.

i just got back to germany...9 hour flight plus 6 hour time difference...really messes with your sleep schedule :( ...but alcohol fixes that :)

when my brother was stationed in Japan he would just stay awake for 2-3 days straight before getting a little plastered to help him sleep so that he could get on a proper sleep schedule. apparently a 15 hour time difference really messes with you.

Reading up on server 2k3 right now. Been doing so since 5am. Need to install AD and exchange with a BES, and Cisco ACS for client access VPN. Was originally going to go with server 08, but everyone I talked to said exchange on 08 is a pain in the ass to configure. Even though I'm out of work, I'm still busy as fuck.

Stressed the hell out. :-/
