38401, Need some web CSS help: wrapper and float Posted by DR1665, Jan-14-09 11:02 AM
I'm trying to get http://tarmac-and-gravel.com set up to my liking, but I'm having a hard time finding a theme I like for the site. I've got a couple in mind, but the one that I've got up right now is bugging me. Looking for a little help if anyone could offer it!
1. The header image is under #wrapper and repeats. I don't want it to repeat. I just want it to remain centered over the content. If I change the property from "repeat-x" to "no-repeat" there's no image at all. BALLS!
2. If you change the size of the font on this theme (CTRL+SCROLL), the navigation links in the bar at right jump away and the whole site looks shitty.
Could this just be a poor theme? I've got another one in mind, but it's more black and white. Doesn't really have any provisions for a header image. Maybe that's a good thing? I dunno.
Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks
The other theme: http://demo.5thirtyone.com
