Terry got the last of the stuff that he needed to weld aluminum yesterday. Aluminum is a bit harder to weld without blowing through it.
Terry, that last picture looks pretty damn good.

damn... I wished I had seen this earlier....
Not bad terry, just remember- get the puddle started then haul ass!!!! Try playin with the Sine-wave balance also, you got a great machine for alum. On the thinner stuff run more of a "cleaning" weld, spreads the heat a little bit more. Also, keep in mind that you can run a slightly larger diameter filler rod and use that to control the heat in the puddle.
-If I hadn't flown to PA today I would take a pic of my "razor blade" key chain. But TSA says I need to leave that at home so I'll get to that later....
POP cans? A lil practice and you can weld two together no prob, the real trick is when you cut one in half and weld it back together. It's been 5 or so years since I've done it. When your ready tery, I'll let ya know the secret, because it truly is nothing more than a trick... ;)
