I hear ya man. I still have mine which is even worse. I just don't have the 5k to make it a driveable again. :cry

Ouch...5k to fix. I'm still sick to my stomach thinking about how I sold it for $7,000. Perfect paint, not a single dent, turbo, fully built motor, everything you would want to do to it....ughh. Oh well.

Yeah mine was totaled but nothing got messed up on the motor and none of my mods got screwed up except for the FMIC and the turbo timer (fuse box got destroyed and messed up the timer).

You should have sold your car to me. I would have bought that in a heart beat. I was looking all over for a excellent condition 2GNT in that price range too. Here's a drink to both of our cars. :cheers

I remember when Joe Shitbag drove his lifted truck right up over the hood of your beautiful red car, Jason. I also remember bullshitting with you and Jon at Circuit City before we all got tore up that night playing Halo.

Oh, and there was a time when I was considering a Saab 900 too. Love the look of those cars. You've got a super clean one, Jordan. The only thing keeping me from them was FWD and that truly bizarre way they connect the engine to the trans. (Why they didn't just go transverse like everyone else, I'll never understand.)

We need a list of all the OGs who regret selling their cars. That way we can point people to it when they say "I'm selling the 2g"

The few bucks we can get from selling these cars isn't worth losing your beloved 2gnt.

Thanks Driggs. Yeah they did a lot of goofy stuff on the Classic Saab 900's but some of it was good too. You point out the main one which was the engine and tranny. But the great thing about the way it was mounted is that if you ever need to replace the clutch or slave cylinder all you have to do is take off the cover in front and it will all slide right out from the front. You never have to jack the car up or take off the tranny to replace the clutch.

I wish I could get my Talon going again though. I have a Turbo Saab and a Turbo Caravan but neither of them was close to being as fun as the 2GNT. ;(

i just got my gsx running perfect again! (new crank pully)

Was really close to selling it when had bad back problems before surgery... not the best ergonomic seats. Im am so glad i didnt, back is better, each day i find another reason i have driven 2gnts for the last 10yrs. i just cant part with her, cant do it. This thread is an eyeopener.

On another point i had to reregister, guess i have been away for way too long, but good to see the old familar names still around

I agree, beautiful car.

And this is why I'm not selling mine :nono At this point it would not make sense. I have a good looking car in great condition, paid off a long time ago, fun to drive, and insurance on it costs very little. No reason to get rid of it.

I agree. Too bad the moron I sold it to put the head gasket on wrong(I still can't figure out how the hell he managed that). He even tryed to blame me for providing him with the wrong HG. Completly ruined the head while he was at it. I don't even know what has happend to car since then.

I hear you. there have been many a time when I wished I still had my eclipse.

Just got word my first eclipse is sitting at the toyota dealership in town, it was traded in. Sooo tempting........
