hey guys, sorry about the lack of participation lately, life has been hell.

but that's a story for a different thread.

I've been having fun creating hand made "silkscreened" shirts and hoodies lately. I'd show the pics of the completed items so far but they're all christmas gifts and the people that are receiving them know I LOVE this site.

I was wondering what you guys thought of my designs that were 2GNT related and if anyone had any good ideas as well.

First up, an outline of the 2G, wings and noses could be changed to fit talons or low/no wing cars


some various options that could be put in underneath the outline

let me know what you guys think. Depending on what the upper management around here says I might make some up for 2GNT'ers for sale, with part of the proceeds going to keep this place around

love that rear tooned one; be cool on the back of a tee with a blocked Team 2GNT on the front maybe?

I would definitly buy one if you were goin to do a group buy or something. If you could make them with Talon's and stuff too that would be awesome. Keep us updated on anything that developes.

First one Outline with 2GNT is great for a front of view of shirt add the .com next to the outline.

Rear toon is great for back of shirt with the diamondstar/eagle and 2gnt.com in one

remove the RS-T and add 2G-T


For Talons

Front view
Have similar outline but for the Talon 2G with short wing with 2GNT.com

Back of shirt

have a Rear toon view of a 2G Talon with 2G-T as plate
with the diamondstar/Eagle and 2GNT.com logo

I like the first one, the one with the side view of the eclipse shell, looks interesting.

thanks for the good response guys! I don't know that I could do a "Group" buy, I do all the shirts by hand. after christmas I'll post up the pics of what I've made already.

I'll try to get some drawings done with Talon noses/tails soon. and I'll figure up a cost.

Oh, and I'll do another bodyline silhouette for the talon this weekend. maybe if I've still got enough color I'll try making a shirt with the Eclipse silhouette and the 2gnt block letters that I posted above

got the updated silhouette drawings done,

first, TALON!
I went with a 2GB low spoiler look, I couldn't find a good side shot of the halo wing to make it look right


and an updated Eclipse
I decided to show all the wing options in one drawing, turbo, low, none, so that's why it looks a little funny at the back end.


I've already started cutting the stencil for the turbo wing eclipse and the blocked 2GNT lettering, I just need to pick up a blank T-shirt to put it on, hopefully my next post will have a working prototype!

I can take a shot of the halo wing if you want. What angle would you like it from?

Well here it is guys! I have the first 2GNT t-shirt that I've made so far, the front turned out amazing. the back doesn't show it in the pic but I had some issues with the materials and it didn't turn out so well, but it's a learning process.

I really like the tuned rear drawing you did. I would love to get a hoodie, long sleeve and short sleeve shirts with that on the back and the front side drawing withe 2gnt.com under it.

You can draw good too. Props for that. Now get a group buy going on all this shit!

I'm waiting on the ok from B, Terry and Dino to sell the shirts.

I'm figuring about $25-30 per shirt, less complex designs like the silhouette will fall towards the $25 and more complex stuff will be around $30.

hoodies will probably be $40-45, I'm not completely sure since I don't know exactly how much they will cost me.

oh, and just for those of you that don't realize what I mean when I say I'm making these by hand, here you go.

first I make the drawing.


then I trace it onto "contact paper"


then I cut out each individual piece. (no plotter here)


then I attach the cut stencil to the shirt and mask off the areas that won't get color, and spray
(insert pic of stencil on shirt being sprayed by hand here, I forgot to take that pic.)

wait for drying, remove stencil and masking!


allow to set overnight, Enjoy!

Just an update on what I've been up to, I should have a finalized design in the next few days.

I did crunch the numbers and it looks like I'll be able to offer a group buy for $20 a shirt but I'll need to sell at least 20 shirts to do it at that price

The front will be the same design that I showed earlier, the back I'm hoping to show a final layout by the beginging of next week, but again, each shirt will be customized to each buyer. colors will be matched as closely as possible to each car unless one is not specified, then I'll default to white (it's easiest)
