Curious if anyone has ever tried these capsoles of 5 hour energy? Do they work, and do they make you crash after awhile or not?

Can't say I've ever tried anything called a capsole. Sounds like a shoe part, to be honest with you. ("Was that a half hat or half of a hat?")

Eh, I have been drinking the green can of Monster twice a day usually, lol, but prices keep going up on it and a bottle of this new shit is only like 5 bucks.

Man I hate to sound like a doctor but why is everyone taking energy drinks now in days?? What you guys are doing is making your body dependent on something that it naturally doesn't need. I honestly recommend that if you feel tired during the day, you should try to either get to bed earlier or go have a physical done cause sometimes early onsets of diabetes can result in blood sugar getting so low that you feel drained all the time. Another reason for feeling tired that I have personally experienced is due to being out of shape. If you're fat and out of shape, regular everyday activities or tasks take an extra toll on your body which can leave you feeling tired all day. You guys are gonna end up looking like this guy if you don't stop taking these crazy energy drinks.

I've tried these a few times and they work pretty good. Plus they're pretty much B vitamins without the harsh junk they throw in the cans, etc...that is considered the "energy blend" in most popular energy drinks. I'd take one of these over drinking 3 to 4 cups of coffee a day.

I still rock the cans of blue Monster or the blue Rockstars when I can find them from time to time.

Yeah thats the bottles that are sold around here. I usually drink a cup of coffee on the way to work and thats it. However, I really find myself only drinking the green cans of Monster now for refreshment. I dont like soda, and I only drink water and coffee, and I just like the taste of the Monster drink really. Doesnt give me a lot of energy anymore, but sometimes I am looking for a good boost, so I was seeing if anyone tried these new 5 hour energy pills.

In the fast pace and overworked lives of Americans your normal 16 hour day is just not enough regardless of how efficient you are. I get an average of 4-5 hours sleep on a nightly basis and there is not much I can do to change that. I have so many things I have to do per day, and deadlines that do not allow me to just say "fuck it i'll do it tomorrow". I'm constantly tired but I mask it with caffeine and energy pills, or drinks. Being fat and lazy has nothing to do with energy drinks for 99% of the population. I drink energy drinks and I could run circles around you and do just about anything physically better than you.. sorry but it's true. Caffeine has become the most socially acceptable addiction in America for a reason. Get over it and stop being a pole smoker.

Ok, I'll be what ever number to agree; fuck off. I drink 4 cans of orange monster one day cuz I like it, go to bed for 3 hours, work through another 18 hour day without a can, and still feel tired as hell... oh yeah, no crash for me. I also eat about 5 full meals a day, and my scrawny ass only wieghs about 180# and I'm 6 foot 2. It isn't always about being out of shape. SOME OF US JUST LIKE THE STUFF!!!! I compare it to coffee or soda or pills or whatever your vice. Just tell yourself what you want to hear and it don't seam so bad any more...

Well, I tried it, and it didn't do anything for me other than an upset stomach. It has a major overload of one of the B-vitamins in it, so it can actually make you feel like you're getting a hot flash.


I'll stick to Red Bull when I need that extra boost of energy on the drive to the shootout :) That seems to work best for me, well, that or a really good espresso.

This is fucking funny. I usally drink a can of redbull when I need a boost. I tried the yellow jacket pills once and I was so fucking hyper I thought I was gonna run up a wall and I had jitters like none other than I crashed hard fuck that stuff. My roommate has a few cans of cocaine I am not sure if they are pre-ban or not when he got them I assumed they were the same as the old stuff but now im questioning it. I do not have the balls to even try the stuff one of my friends downed two cans back to back and he was freakin out saying his heart wouldnt stop pounding and he couldnt breath. But I guess this cocaine energy drink he has burns like hell. How can I tell if its pre-ban?

Coming from someone who drinks 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning and nothing else all day, I can say when my energy is low I eat a peice of fruit or candy and I feel better. I tend to drink water or V8 throughout the day.

My MS doctor told me that I was becoming hypoglycemic, which is very commmon in today's modern fast paced world we live in.

I must admit the hostility and rage displayed amongst those that drink energy drinks versus those who do not. It's quite interesting, haha. That's not to start anything, but come on guys, you can see it all over this one particular topic. It is somewhat interesting, no? Tried it finally. Actually,it was the 5 hour extreme bottle. Deffinately taste like shit and it worked as far as the energy was, however, made me crash badly about 6 hours later. I will stick the green can of Monster.
