The new Micheal Jordan commercial is awesome. If you haven't seen it, it basically shows kids doing all of his famous moves, shots, and dunks. Everything from the foul line dunk to his cross over on Russell in the NBA finals. The commercial is for his new shoe. Final scene kicks ass w/ the shrug of the shoulder. I think it's his 21st or 22nd shoe.

That was cool.

Whats amazing is how easily I recognize those moves as his. He really is a legend to the game. I stopped watching basketball after he and Jackson and the rest of the good guys left the Bulls. What a time it was to live in Chicago. Any other Chicago 2gnters here remember the Dennis Rdoman billboard with the changing haircolor.

Man that video rocks so much. The pippen n jordan ending is great.

Wish I had all these games on tape, speaking of which is there a source where I could get some of these original games?

p.s. that freethrow line dunk is nucking futs. Is that real? It looks so unreal, but then again it did when jordan did it too.

I think in the commercial the free-throw line dunk is fake. Although it's hard really THAT hard for people now. Josh Smith could EASILY do it, but it wouldn't score much in the dunk contest. Instead he did 2 hands from just inside the foul line, further away then when Vince did it. BTW, great All-Star game tonight. What an ending. So happy for T-Mac and Lebron had a great game to. Wish my local boy Arenas did better though.

The dunk is real, but yea, the guy doing didn't it really accomplish it. All they did was rotoscope some dude onto the real Jordan dunk.

ok, thats a great commercial..... the part where the kid does the jumpingfist swing thing... its just like the real clip, because I always remember that guy falling down in the background and they had a kid fall almost exactly the same way , lol thats greatness.

Best part of that commercial is the last kid with the "Shrug of the shoulders" Mocking when Jordan hit the 6 3's in the first half vs Portland in the finals. If you look at all the crowd and all the players on the court it is almost exactly like the actuall game Jordan played in.

I was very impressed with this commercial over all. I was also searching to download it lol.

Thats when I stopped watching too. I used to enjoy watching basketball and the dunk contests especially. Now it is just a bunch of over paid punks...ruined it for me. I used to buy every new pair of Air Jordans and still have the 1st pair I got, which was his 2nd shoe I think. I was in 5th grade at the time....lol

Yep my parents used to buy me all the air jordans too, I might still have a pair somewhere. But that was something that made you cool in school, no matter who you were, haha.

and amen 1000 percent about overpaid punks. I hear all this talk about Iverson and Bryant and whoever else, and whenever I watch them I just get annoyed and switch the channel.

Jordan wasn't any saint, but on the court he had a great personality and sportsmanship.

The best pair of J's ever were the XII's.

I'm a big Kobe fan, mainly because I'm a big Laker fan. It's funny how when talk of the next Michael Jordan comes up, Kobe's name is mentioned. Positive or negative, people still acknowledge him as a "candidate" for that spot. MJ will always be #1.
