35734, you gotta love co-workers

You know they type that are always asking you to trade shifts becuase they have this game or that event to attend. Then when you have a wedding no less to attend you cant get one of them to trade with you. I am the guy that everyone relies on for trades becuase I will drop watever I am doing to help someone out.....but god forbid I need anything. I hate people.

Co-workers are generally selfish assholes and are about as thoughtful as a damn rock. I never traded shifts with people, not because I was an asshole, but because they did the same to me. Simply stop going out of your way for them, if they can't return the favor. It's even more annoying when they want to have the time off, bitch and moan to a manager about the scheduling until he/she changes it... simply because the fucker would have missed their favorite tv show on Thursday nights. Next time they ask you to switch say, "No, I have a friends wedding to go to." regardless of the day of the week or the time of the year. Soon hopefully they will get the picture. Sorry you can't make it Terry.

Word. I'm in the same boat, Terry. I have the most logged hours in my 7 person department from covering shifts. I'm also the person with the highest general absence time from being forced to call out because no one would cover an actual emergency for me.

Well on the upside, next time they ask you (and you tell them to eat a cold bowl of cocks), they'll make a big deal about how you're a selfish prick with a grudge.

:)

Ive noticed that this scenario applies to alot of things as well. It always seems ill be the guy to give the kid a thumbs up in his car, but I never get one. Some people are just, what was it, dildos? :P

Karma never fails though :)

Yep...same boat with me. I'm salary and I don't get paid extra to work weekends. I've had to work a few Saturdays because of being in a management position and the fact that our lazy ass technicians won't cover a job they would be getting paid overtime for.
