Anyone going? I'll be there friday thru monday, and as luck would have it, just found out I'll be a guest of Bridgestone all weekend. So instead of sitting on cold aluminum benches in the rain, I'll be sucking back free beverages in their suite all weekend. Just thought I'd share my good fortune. :+ :afro

I was in Indy last weekend but I'm not into bikes so I didn't go. The remnants of Hurricane Ike messed up the race though. My folks lost power at their house on Sunday afternoon and I had to get up by candle light on Monday morning and get to the airport by 5 am.

There was a well known MotoGP rider on my flight home to Phoenix. It took forever to board the plane since nearly everyone stopped in the aisle for an autograph ot two. The whole plane was full of Yamaha Team members and GP fans.

Photos? This is all I got. Company paid for a rental car and all they had was a 2009 Spyder. Luggage was a challenge to fit in the trunk. :)

Fun to drive but I'd never own one.
