Well the bright side of it is that it looks like it has some salvagable (sp?) parts....

The seat adjust knobs on the side of the driver seat and maybe the motor.

hmmm, maybe I should look up what that engine and transmission combo would cost.

Talk about a safe car in a front end collision though. Holy Hell, if you can flatten the front of a mid engine car like that, and have the cabin come out looking like a champ...that's some good engineering.

Engine and tranny (if still good) can't be worth more than 25k US. The only other salvagable things look lik 3/4 rims/tires; no way it is worth 52k.

I saw a black one with black rims the other day. Omg, I've never ever heard a car that sounds meaner than this thing. I though muscle cars were loud and intimidating. They have nothing on this R8.
