I have always hated the foci, they have always been ugly since release IMO.

Perhaps, but they've been solid little platforms that can take a beating. Consider videos.streetfire.net/video/WRC-Craziest-Moments-Part_143597.htm Tough video to watch, considering it's got a lot to do with Richard and Colin... Check out the Focus content at the 11:18 mark...

The Europeans have had a turbocharged Focus RS for many years now. US emissions laws tend to prevent us from getting the really cool stuff :(

The Focus ST which Ford says will be here before 2011 is AWD. I'll dig a nice hole and buy one brand new for $30k. Who needs an Evo when you can have a Cosworth tuned Focus.
