I sat around, surfed the internet, ate cheesecake for a co workers birthday, then took five shirts for my lil bro to have.

I've taken a shitload of calls from customers, sold some parts and surfed 2GNT and ClubWRX

The same thing I do everyday, Pinky; Take care of the whiny maggots that are my users. :P Reconfigured the print server for 25 different printers about half an hour ago. (The company decided to contract with a different company than before.) A pretty quiet day, really.

I had a network issue at a clinic, and their onsite IT guy got on the phone and asked how to check DNS settings, then how to ping the server.

He was with geeksquad.

I feel sorry for my IT guy, he's had to design and setup a whole new building, rewire the phone servers, deal with all the whiney bitches and do his normal job for the past few months. He doesn't even have anyone to help him either.

At least I know that I'm not making his life any harder.

Um you are looking at it. I work on a 90% deployed army base. I have about 2 hours of real work a day. Then 8 hours of the internet. Today I think Ill watch a movie. :)
