I have been upgrading my GST for 7-8 months now and looking over my build Im very happy with the deals I got on upgrades.
tein flex coilovers 500.00 (craigslist)
4g63 5 speed tranny w/lsd 330.00
the one im really happy about is this. A built 6 bolt for 200 bucks. Im paying 700 for the engine but I have a friend that picked up a blown gst and needs an engine I told him 500 for my 7 bolt and he said when can I get it.
new engine, next weekend
so now im under 5 grand total counting the car too.

brand new HKS GTRS turbo $700 ($2100)
APR GTC-200 carbon wing $150 ($725)
and perpetual 1/2 price on all my Aeroquip fittings and lines

My best, is the silver car in my sig. $250 ran like a champ, but pretty damaged passenger side. I wanted it so I had a spare engine and trans. I'm up quite a bit from parting it out plus the fact that I have spare parts of stuff I wanted engine/trans starter alternator some misc. interior pieces I needed.

I bought a nice little 14b turbo from Casbon for something like 25 or 50 bucks or something stupid. Still haven't used it for nothing...but I could pass up the deal. LOL

build a go-kart or sandrail and turbo it on Megasquirt.

My 92 TSi AWD 6/4 bolt, bought it with a broken timing belt for $500 like 6 years back, body is in amazing shape.

Junior year of high school I got a GS eclipse and a few months down the road a flat bed tow truck rear ended me and totaled it. I bought the GS for $12k and ended up getting $13k after the accident. I used that money to buy my GS-T and still had some money left over to do a little modding. A nice little upgrade IMO
