Doesn't matter if the filler tube is on the drivers side or the passenger side, you're still taking it in the butt! Where are you located and what are you paying for gas?

Visalia, CA $4.45 for 87 octane $4.65 for 91 octane

$65 to fill my tank, I cried today ;(

Gas prices could come down substantially if we can get Congress to quit screwing us. We just need to drill here and drill now. Go Newt.

jinx the nation, sminx the nation, its going to happen whether anyone likes it or not. Europe is paying about 8-9 bucks a gallon now, in a way we're kinda lucky that we don't have to pay that...for now. Besides, I think my Old School 2gnter status prevents a ban :P

It has occured to me that gasoline is now more expensive than a pack of cigarettes, and in light of the huge push towards alternative fuel sources, I believe it is time that someone invent a car that runs on tobacco. The upside to this is that emissions would be a non-issue as they would be pumped directly into the car :P food for thought.

Our gas prices won't get as high as Europe, thanks to "Steers and Queers" Texas and "No mans land" Alaska. Two deposits of oil that Europe just doesn't have. They are almost purely consumers, providing very little to none of their own consumption of oil.

Also, just a side note, I'm not in favor of those "ecological friendly" oil drilling. Leave our natural wilderness alone, it's not ours to fuck up.. and it's not our childrens to fuck up.. Areas where they want to drill and set up shop are some of the most ecologically diverse areas of the world, I'd hate to see what the oil companies would do to the place since they have no respect for nature and that has been proven time and time again. I've seen the impact of what oil companies do to areas like that, look up the continuing fight conservationists and rock climbers have had in areas of Kentucky and Tennessee foothills of the Appalachians (Red River Gorge as an example). It's all about their mineral rights trumping surface rights.

Yo man are you still in the LBC? Because that's where I'm at, and I filled up the tank today in the 2g. I was 20 cents away from $60.

There was a cute Latina filling up her SUV right across from me. After she filled up her tank she had the most miserable expression on her face. Sucks for people but I'm glad SUVs will become dinosaurs.

Also read in the newspaper how the resale values for Hummers has dropped like a rock. Of course, who in the world would like to see H2 drivers get f'd over??? }(

a-fucken-men the only people that should be allowed to drive suv's are the ones that need them or have no other option (I put that bit in because until I get another car up we still have to drive the exploder)

most oversized suv drivers are ignorant douchenozzles that have no place on public roads

Nah man, I ended up moving back up north to the Bay Area last December after I graduated. There were too many hiring freezes in the teaching profession in SoCal so I thought I'd try up here. Also, most of my family is up here. It's a lot slower up here but we have the worst gas prices in the nation...lame.

As for people who own hummers...Demetri Martin brakes it down in one of his skits. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, it starts at 55 sec. into it.

$4.75 regular, $4.95 for 91 on monday here so from the start of this thread to now, like 2.5 weeks, that's $.30 increase across the board. I know a lot of people are riding bicycles to work now to save money, unfortunately I have made it a matter of principle to expend as little effort as possible in any one given day, so instead of bicycles I'm looking into rickshaw's.

I've seen regular for $2.69 by me as of today and premium for $3.07. I can't wait till premium dips back below $3/gallon. As a matter of fact I'm quite content with its approximate cost right now.

The good news is, I've gone from spending $120 a week on gas to spending $30-$40 a week on gas between the dollar drop in premium and the much shorter commute for the next 5 months :D

Dayton, Ohio last price I saw was like $1.72 for regular I believe. I have heard from friends that its been $1.69 at various gas stations.

And up there someone posted they said it was the first time they left a gas station with a smile in a long time. I filled up when it was right below 2 bucks and it was like 28-30 bucks from empty I was so happy. Now I can drive my car a little harder and not worry as much about having gas money :-)
