While breaking the torque on my old 122,xxx mile headbolts, a cheap 1/4" extention decides to twist almost to the point of breaking and pops off the socket.

Both thumbs made fantastic contact with the edge of the cylinder head.

It felt fabulous and i've never seen so much blood from such small cuts.


Totally my fault but it still hurt like fuck. Any harder and i would have needed stitches. I almost split my left thumbnail in half!

That's why you A) use a breaker bar and B) brace your hip against the fender. So you don't have to put your back into breaking yo widdow piddies.

I've sheared 1/4" extensions before like this and watched buddies launch into the firewall. Awesome.

isn't it amazing how much blood can come from the little wounds?
we get that all the time in the ER. people freak at the amount of blood, then we clean it off and their like "oh . . thats not so bad" lol call the intern to stitch it up. (circular meat slicers a notorious for these injuries)


Medical tip: keep a tube of super glue in your tool box, the primary ingrediant is the same stuff that we use in our high-end surgical skin glue! :thumbsup
use it on small cuts, just try not to get it INSIDE the wound, just try and stick the edges together. then once its closed you can put a thin layer on top and go about your day.

and Super Glue FTW, it does work! and make sure you clean it good first so infection doesn't set in inside the cut after you seal it up.
