I just checked the Dragway 42 website, and on Sunday, June 1st the ImportFaceoff people are having an event there, I'm guessing it's like a poorman's Nopi, with drag racing, car show, and db, drag racing, just thought I would post this for all the N.E. Ohioans out there!!! Spring is coming, at least I hope if freakin is!!!

I just went to the one in belle rose, la and it was pretty good. The drag racing was o.k., they had a couple hondas come out and run 10 flat. They canceled the drift event b/c there were to many drag racing and some of the track uses the 1/4 mile for a straight away. Alot of hot girls and cars though. It was mostly hondas, acuras and scions, but there were around 4 skylines, 4 or 5 mkiv supras, 4 fd rx-7's, and a couple nsx's. Here are a couple pics from the event.

I'd walk around with a huge boner, staining my boxers every 5 seconds. .....Mostly over the cars. Cars > women.

They have had an Import faceoff show in Xenia, OH twice at a local dragstrip. It was a decent show with some nice cars. nothin as spectacular as the skylines or rx-7 in those pics. But there was some decent drag racing between several ten second evo's and wrx's and a high nine second supra.

Cliff puts on a good show for IFO. I wouldn't call it a poor man's NOPI though. About 8 or 9 years ago Cliff decided that he wanted to do a big even that would draw a lot of people from www.sportsnimports.com out to a drag strip/local show. It grew from there when he was able to start making a little bit of money off the event.

I believe that is his main source of income during the summer though. So he hosts a ton of these events. Support the small guys in the car scene. They do go things for everyone.

Thats cool, I had never heard of Import Faceoff before, but it's cool that is going to be like 20 minutes from my house!
