3055, I know how everyone feels now... Posted by Nine5eclipse03, Feb-11-06 04:42 PM
I know i didnt spend 20k on my engine and all that, but i did pamper my car for 3 years, and spend thousands on repairs, and such. Today i watched it drive away to a town 400 miles away, its a horrible feeling, and you wish you could chase them down and change your mind lol. Buuuut i did get 6k for it, not bad for a stock 95 RS :) lol

Thanks, but i made the mistake of taking my first test drive, with a modified one, that dyno'd at 380bhp, so now i dont want to settle for anything less lol. It felt like being in an airplane during takeoff.

Haha, he probably would have gone for it. They didnt try to negotiate at all. The SRS light was on, he only drove it about 2 blocks, got out, asked if i had the title, as he counted the hudreds.

Welcome to the dark side! Make sure you join 3si.org. My name is Ispool4u on there. How many miles are on the car and what did you pick it up for? 6G's for a stock 2gnt is amazing. You probably picked up that Stealth for that much, or at least I hope you did. Make sure you get the transfer case recall done, if it already hasn't been done. Also as first mods the stock exhaust isn't very restrictive until you upgrade turbos. I would be more concerned about the stock downpipe and cats/pre-cats along w/ a "REAL" boost gauge. Enjoy the new car.

Im picking it up this saturday for $6200. Its actually got the recall done already. The exhaust is 3" from the downpipe, its got a turbo XS BOV, and the engine has 6,000ish miles on it from a 96 VR4. Any more mods than that, and i wouldnt have gone for it. I dont like buying cars that are already done for me. I want to build this one, unlike my eclipse. She was just pretty, but she was a bitch.

Just be aware that these cars can be a bitch but they are a lot of fun when they aren't broken. Sounds like you got a really good deal.

yep I know how you feel almost came close to losing mine only to have to rebuild the engine again >.< If I didn't put so much into it I probably would have gotten rid of it by now but it does have one thing that can't be bought memories. if I can't get it to pass smog though I'll just sell it as an unsmoggable car and get a GST :(
good luck with the stealth that's actually one of the cars I first wanted. couldn't find a modded 3kgT? I like the look of the 3KGT better :)
