So i got a ps3 for christmas(i do christmas early at my moms, then go to my dads for christmas day) im getting games at my dads, so im stuck watching spiderman 3 until some demos finish downloading. Does anyone else here have one? I want to know how to add friends and stuff, like do you have to add them through a game or can you do it without one? I should be getting warhawk and call of duty4 and eventually nhl 2008. Ill be playing online alot, so if you guys have any of them add me, my name is( i think, unless you have to add the email) DougFM.

Congrats. I got the 80gig with the Motorstorm game. also got Oblivion Game of the Year edition and Need For Speed Carbon.

Get the adapter so you can transfer your PS2 memory cards into the Hard drive. Its worth the 15.00. The 10foot Usb cable helps with charging the Controller too while you play. I cant beleive they give you the small 6' one with it.

I picked up a second controller too, 49.00 is kinda rediculous but whadda ya gonna do.

I got one and have a decent amount of games now. I mostly play COD 4 online right now, best multiplayer game out IMO.

I downloaded the motorstorm demo and im getting the need for speed demo now haha. Im just using my brothers psp cable to charge the controler when i play because like you said the one that comes with it is way to short.

My wife got me the 80gb one for Christmas. It rules!! I've only got motostorm and Medal of Honor Airborne Assult right now. It's a great shooter if you like em, and a blast online. I'm on as wvdsmguy.

I got one also. I opted for the 40 gig one. I figured with the $100 I save I can put a bigger hard drive in it than 80 gigs if I wanted to. I use it mainly for blu-ray movies, but I do play some games.

I have Sonic The Hedge Hog, Need for Speed Carbon, Need For Speed Pro Street, and Tony Hawk's Proving Ground. I also preordered Gran Turismo and Burnout.

NFS pro street is garbage; sell it and grab something else while you can still get decent credit for it. This game utilizes the most shamless in-game advertising I have ever seen in a game...

lol yeah Im not a big fan of Pro street... I like Carbon better since you can free drive. I'll hold onto Pro Street for the hell of it for now. I may ditch it when GT comes in next week.
