Those look like newer pictures, i havnt seem them. ive basically been following the challanger sence the concept came out like a year or so ago. I guess they just went on sale (they are starting production somewhere in febuary in brampton ontario) and you can start seeing them at dealers mid spring. (although they are already sold out basically for the entire 2008 model year, unless they are making more than planned) You can get the srt8 fully loaded and (unfortunatly) the autostick transmission for around 38 thousand. In 2009 the manual and a bunch of other engine combos are coming.

This is for sure, my favourite muscle car coming out, i just cant get past the camaros front end to like it at all.

Hell yeah, I'd take this over the NEW Skyline.

My pops had the orignal verison when I was little and before I was born.

Whats the retail this BEAST

The retail right now for the srt8 with like everything(and the unfortunate ATX) is just under 38 thousand U.S, eventually the v6 base model will come along and probably be abour the same price as the v6 rustang.

I wouldn't go that far; But I'd sooner be able to afford one of these than a GTR.

I like the older style like the 19991 to 1993 GTR body style instead more aggressive. I bet soon there will be SR20DET or RB 26 Twin Turbo swaps in that NEW GTR. Its nice to read and look at them in a mag. That New body style is Fugly but the 08 EVO is fukin sweet

I doubt we will see engine swaps on that thing for a LOOOONG time. And why would you want to swap? The new engines are a lot better from what I have read/heard.

On topic, Challenger looks ok, I like the rear end of it. I would still take a new Camaro over it though.

Who needs gas mileage when you have that car. Sure you would have to fill it up alot, but i dont think it would be a dd for very meny people anyways.

I love the new Challenger... my f'kin dream car! The new Camaro looks too plastic, with all that unpainted plastic on the front bumper, hate that, definitely not muscle car style. I don't see why Chevy likes that on their newer cars, cheap looking.

Hemi with a 6 speed manual, drool. I can't wait!

There was always something that bothered me about the front end of the new Camaro. I think I figured it out, it looks too much like a Cadillac. Aside from that I like it.

(edit for crappy spelling.)

x2

If you took the branding off of both cars, and asked people to guess what kind each is, I think more people would recognize the Challenger. That's what I like about it. Dodge kept it simple. They aren't trying to wow you with looks. The styling compliments what will eventually be available under the hood perfectly(in my opinion).
