(Found it looking to better describe the difference between "it's" and "its" on another forum. One is a possessive contraction, while the other is a possessive pronoun.)

I think the worst is effect v. affect.. I always have to look that one up!!
even on that website their difference isn't very solid.. i found a website that just told you to sub a different word and see if it made sense.. that's how shitty those two are for me.

This is kind of funny, I have dictionary.com on my bookmarks toolbar. I use it all the time because I'm self conscious about spelling words correctly and being grammatically correct. I cant stand when people slaughter the english language.
