well today as i was pulling in my driveway i noticed coolent pouring out of my 98 explorer and after carefully examining the source of the leak was found to be both the upper and lower thermostat housing hoses and let me tell ya our cars are cake to work on compared to this p.o.s i was always under the impression that fords were easy too work on, it has the 4.0 sohc engine, to change the sparkplugs it takes the better part of an afternoon but anyway took me 5 hours of tearing everything off the top end of the motor to include the p.o.s plastic intake mani, fuel rail, throttle body, a million hoses god know only where the heck they are gonna go back to but i finally got both hoses off and made it to the auto parts store 5 min after they close so i will be driving the eclipse to work tomorrow cause it aint getting fixed tonight. anyway anyone know anything about the explorers? why are they so hard to work on? i need to climb into the engine bay to work on it too, cant do much from the ground and im 6 foot. anyway sorry for the long post i just needed to vent and let everyone know how much more i love working on my eclipse now that ive explored another motor. wonder if i can get the 420a to work on my explorer? lol just kidding

If you think that's bad, try changing the plugs on a LS1 F-body, or simply change the belt tensioner on the 98-02 camaro v6.

To change the plugs on my mustang, I had to pull the air inlet tube & the fuel rail, but it's really not that bad.
